Final Score (points) calculation

What can be the purpose of all CIV fans: To achieve a High Score.

Does anybody know how the score calculates? I have some mayor questions :
- how does the difficult level influence your score (difficult level modifier)
- how does the type of victory (Spceship, domination, diplomacy etc. ..)influence your score
- how does the turns left (when did you achieved the victory) influence your score

Well, it's only been six hours in the middle of the night, so you can't expect much of a response yet.

I'm not sure of the actual calculations, but they're probably in the XML files somewhere. I do know that the quicker you finish, the higher your score and I imagine the difficulty level affects it too. I'm not sure about the victory type, though, however, a Time Victory would likely be the least in terms of score just because it would happen later than the rest - don't know if there's a bonus for a Time victory to offset this in relation to the other victory types.
