[R&F] First Look: Georgia

I'm glad to finally see a civ that interacts with the new mechanics in more than a superficial way. I do think it's interesting that the golden age bonus is Georgia's rather than Tamar's. Does this mean we have yet to see the leader who interacts with golden ages (and dark ages?) in a unique way, or were the developers simply being imprecise when they mentioned this?

The appearance of Tamar reminds me a lot Tomyris

I knew Russia wasn't getting new architecture just 'cause. Looks pretty great.

Still no Toronto/Kumasi/Carthage/etc. Tease tease tease.

No YouTube comment toxicity spotted yet. First comment I saw was "aw she's adorable", a few jokes for various civs, a few honest requests for non-standard civs, and a joke about Georgia also being a US state.

My Article welcoming Queen Tamar to Civilization VI and the story behind the meme (feel free to share it with any of your friends that like Civ)

I am not that excited about this civ. Mostly faith. Not sure what the impact of the golden age advantage will be though.

So the trailer was a hint. The Walls in the castle were a hint of Georgia coming. And interesting that they put them up against the Mongols just like in the trailer

This is what I'm wondering. I don't think it's likely - we've only got three leaders left, and Tamar is the obvious choice, since she literally ruled during the Georgian Golden Age. But I'd hardly call a flat bonus a really "unique way" of interacting with the system. Maybe they had bigger plans for her that they rolled back on for balance reasons.
