I don't think so. Carrier Command was sci-fi, wasn't it? I remember often seeing it in stores back in the mid-80's and I came close several times to buying it, but never did.

Carrier Force is a game of WW2 carrier battles in the Pacific. It is similar to Carrier's at War, which was sold around the same time period.

Better speak in terms of genres, huh?

Space Flight Simulator:

Although I have been drawn into the genre by the mighty of Wing Commander 2, and have enjoyed immensely all the Star Wars games (but Tie Fighter particularly), I have to crown the outstandoing Freespace 2 from Volition, which took the place of good old WC2 when I thought it was impossible. Best game ever IMHO.

3D Shooter:

Doom II. I have loved things such as "Wolfenstein II - Spear of Destiny" (you guys remember this oooooooooold one?), and newer graphics are great (Doom3 being virtually flawless), but I gotta say - never had so much fun in the genre as I had with that classic.

Strategy Game:

Civilization II. Was there even a contestant? Hope that IV takes the spot.

Adventure:

Those gamers who have been around for a while will certainly recall the swashbucking fun of The Secret of Monkey Island II, where, commanding the not-so-heroic caracther of the mighty pirate-wannabe Guybrush Threepwood, you face the horredous villany of the Ghost-pirate LeChuck for the hand of beautiful governor of Meleé, Elaine. Oh, and what's that behind you? A three-headed monkey... ?

(there is this new Atari Game, Indigo Prophecy, that sounds like fun. I can't wait to secure a copy)

I guess I should honor the classic Tetris in this little list. I don't really want to find out how many hours of my life I have wasted placing those little blocks in order...

Regards :).

Best PC-games:

1. Planescape: Torment
2. Myth 2: Soulblighter
3. Diablo 2 + LoD
4. Battlefield 1942 (haven't bought bf2)
5. Medieval: Total War (haven't bought Rome:TW)

6. Civilisation-serie
7. Unreal Tournament (Infiltration mod and various other)

I remember having a lot of fun with Battlezone and Warcraft 2 and Age of Empires 2 were also great back in the days when the rtsconcept was fresh, as were Doom and Quake for their genre. Disciples 2, Severance: Blade of Darkness and Interstate '76 had their great moments too. Day of the Tentacle, Baldurs Gate 2 and the original Pirates! deserves to be mentioned also.

1. World of Warcraft (PC)
Enjoy the quests and customization of my characters. Also enjoy the graphics as they aren't meant to be photo realistic but fun.

2. Gun (GC)
Great wild west game. Brutally honest about life in the wild west and extremely easy to get into and enjoy.

3. Simcity 4 (PC)
Various custom content make this game continuous fun for me.

4. Morrowind (PC)
The sheer detail in everything just awestruck me. My friend recommended this game and I thought it was going to be lame. Was I WRONG. :D

5. Godzilla; Destroy all Monsters (GC)
Fighting a big monster while smashing up downtown Seattle is very satisfying to say the least. ;)
