[FIXED] Can't end turn because of bugged Puppet production

After being at war with the Ottomans, they gifted me all their cities except their capital when signing the peace treaty. I puppeted all cities except two. Now the button saying "Choose Production" won't go away. All the annexed and normal cities are producing something. When I click the button, it flashes somewhere on the minimap where the supposed city that needs to choose production lies, but it is always a puppet city which I can't change production for.

I attached the save game:

I recall reading somewhere that the fix in #84 is actually undoing an update that was supposed to fix something else ... is that true?

If so, and there is a reason to not want to undo the fix, has there been confirmation that the bug only operates if you accept the peace in the interturn? If that is true, then one could avoid the bug my only making peace on your turn, and keep the prior fix of the other issue intact.

I havent read all the posts in this string but I have learned from multiplayer games that sometimes you can make the game continue by pressing shift plus enter. Just trying to be helpful:)

I have gotten shft+enter to push the turn when I have been locked up in MP at certain stages.

So I think we have two levels of issue and fixes/workarounds:

Extraction from being stuck unable to end turn:

1. Annex the offending puppet and assign it production. Drawback is you didn't want to annex it, and no guarantee any other cities you were given won't lock you up in the same turn.

2. Try Shift+Enter to force turn to flip. Be sure you have make all other moves and decisions, as the cycle may not get to all after the lockup.

3. Go back and load an autosave (ideally you are set to autosave every turn with this buggy Civilemon V), if the peace offer comes on the enemy turn refuse it, and make the peace on your turn. For several of us, that seems to avoid the issue.

To prevent the problem in the first place:

1. Use the fix in #84

2. Make peace only on your turn. Always refuse peace offers you get during AI turns.

If any of these solutions don't work, or don't work consistently, let us know.

Following problem:
Hatikwa wants to offer me many cities. If i take more than one city and make them to puppet cities, the notification "choose your next production project" (hope this is the rigft spelling in the english version) appears that forces me to choose a project for the new puppet cities but of course this doesn`t work and it is not possible to hit the next turn button. Even if i annex these cities and choose a project, the notification still blocks the next turn button.
Is their any possibility to "force" the next turn?

I would be very thankful.

Okay, huge war going on. AI surrenders to me everything but his capitol. The button on the bottom is stuck on "City Needs Production" (The orange button). When you click it it does nothing, goes to no city. All my non-puppet cities have stuff being built.
I tired CTRL-N but it won't end the turn. So my game is stuck on that turn.

Anyway around this? Or is this a game ender?

I can confirm he same error after receiving three cities in a war settlement. I can force an end of turn by hitting SHIFT-ENTER.

Are you still getting this after patching to 0.62? I thought the patch was supposed to fix that.

Was the war settlement negotiated on your turn, or was it offered to you during AI turn? For some, that seems to make a difference (bug on cities you get during AI turn, but not if you make the deal on your turn).

Workaround:

Enter city screen of another city
Open production window there
Navigate to problem city with arrows on top of city screen
Select valid production there

If a building's not working, try another one...
The game continues, but the city is "broken"...
