This is for version 3.53
The folkskola gives 1 scientist slot but doesnt yield any fixed science per turn or science based upon populations just the 1 scientist slot for 3 maintenance. This cant be what was intended.
Also in 3.53 I just played as the ottomans and got no gold from internal trade routes even with barbary port in all cities. Also barbary port does not have the bonus gold per trade route effect that harbor has. Ottomans also still had their ship capture ability at 75% capture rate BEFORE I constructed barbary port.
