Forgive me, but this, quite frankly, has all the farmiliar symptoms of a spam thread. The OP joined in 2006, and has made only 10 posts since then. This thread is also pretty much an advertisment.

Well, if you look at his other posts, you would notice that they have been legitimate Civ-discussion posts. The OP was unclear, that's why you were confused.

I joined in 2002 and only have 1300 odd posts. If I start a thread and post a link does it make it spam?

No. Very old join dates and very low post counts are just usually typical of spam. I'd be very surprised if someone with as many posts as you have made a spam thread.

Anyway, it seems I made a wild, completley incorrect accusation! Sorry! Go on with the football discussion.
