Yes, there is no real PROOF that evolution theory is true. There is only some evidence which points to it. In fact, only math theorems can be strictly PROVEN.

Well yes, since you acknowledge that "proof" in the mathematical sense doesn't relate to the physical world, I don't know why this is an issue.

"Proof" can also mean "evidence which compels one to believe".
