I know that a fort acts like a city in many ways. I also know I could find this out for myself, but my game isn't handy right now and by the time it is I may well forget the question.

Do city garrison promotions work in a fort?

Yes. If you're the attacker, you can even promote your units to City Raider, and it works, as long as the Fort is in enemy culture.

Forgot: The Fort must ofc be in your culture for you to get the CG-bonus.

Since you said that was true for city raider It did make me wonder but I had already wandered off. Thanks for answering before I got back to ask!

Forts also give their defensive bonus and effect to city raider and city garrison promotions when the fort is in neutral territory.

Does your City defense promotion work if you are in a fort or city in your vassal's territory?

If the enemy occupies a fort in my culture does my City Raider promotion work on that fort?

1. Yes for forts/cities in your vassal's territory (or even a neutral civ you have open borders with)

2. I don't think so
