October 27th

*****Foxford is a tiny village on the outskirts of the Elohim empire. Largely forgotten by anyone of consequence its surrounding fur and deer camps are its only real value. Still the villagers of Foxford are a decent, if not overly supersticious lot, and are accustomed to seeing their children raised to go off to wars they never return from.

*****Foxford was quiet until the arrival of a traveler from the elven lands. This was no elf, but a man named Duin who carried a thick oak cudgel and quite a few gold coins. Unaccustomed to wealthy travelers the backwater inn and tavern were delighted to have his company, and sorry to see him go the following day. They wouldn't know until later that this man left more than gold in the village.

The Dead:

*****Shepard QES- Protector of sheep
*****Cobbler Nikis-Knight- Shoemaker

October 28th

*****Crows gather over the Cobblers garden. Below the body of Sonne was ravaged almost past the point of recognition. Sonne was Cobbler Nikis-Knights daughter and barely past her 16th birthday. The tragedy of her death was overshadowed by an even darker realization, that she was killed by Werewolves. Tracks around the body show that there were three separate attackers, you will have to find and kill these werewolves if you are to survive.

*****Carpenter Lorgen and Blacksmith Grillick begin building gallows in the village square. Before night comes someone must be found guilty and killed for this crime.

Events:

1. While Duin was in town he seemed to have a fondness for Bar Wench Ploeperpengel. Several villagers even saw the two heading toward Duin's room together (although that isn't uncommon for the Bar Wench).

2. Several villagers spotted Herbalist Sureshot creeping through the village by herself well past midnight.

Lynching:

*****Despite accusations and pleading from all sides Shepard QES is grabbed and dragged to the gallows. He insists he is innocent and that this is a mistake. There is only one way to be sure. Acolyte Loki prays for his soul and then the noose is put around his neck. He is dropped and in a few minutes the twiching subsides.

*****A careful examination shows.... that he was human.

*****Everyone heads back to their homes, the village has killed an innocent man. It is getting late and the werewolves will be hunting soon.

*****After the lynching Cobbler Nikis-Knight returned to his garden and sat in the spot his daughter was killed. The village was quiet until they heard his yelling:

*****"What do you want, why did you kill her?"

*****The response was a deep growl, an inhuman voice, "Where is the sword you stole from our master?"

*****"I don't have it, somebody took it." the cobbler pleaded, "Please stay back!"

*****Then only screams.

October 29th:

*****No one is surprised at what they find in the morning. Cobbler Nikis-Knights corpse ravaged just as his daughters had been. Three villagers dead and the werewolves are still among you. The gallows wait for their next victim.

Events:

1. After being kept from leaving during the day Merchant Civkid1991 went to get his horse just before dark and was stopped by Stablemaster Unser and several angry villagers. No one is to leave the village until the killers are caught.

2. Tanner Xuenay spent a lot of time in the Cobblers garden yesterday, and after Nikis-Knight is buried he returns and sits in it alone. Most of the other villagers are staying as far away from the garden as possible.

Getting nervous after all her killings? Or getting nervous about everyone going after her head? Does nobody else care that Deathling says his tavern was empty Monday night, despite the fact that most all of us remember being there? You remember, right, woodelf? You were there, certainly.

Has our mayor already spoken to his people or is he hiding since the trouble started?

If you were there, then who served you the ale? and don't say the wench... yoou all know that's not her job.

He`s hiding...

And the mayor, who ought to be a uniting figure in our village in these harsh times. Strange.

if he acts too uniting either us, the wolves, or everyone will go after him most likely
he "is" the tiebreaker"

I was certainly somewhere, but I could never speak against Deathling unless he decided to try to collect my tab.

Make all the snide comments about the wench you want, Deathling, but everybody knows that it's only after the tavern closes that she goes up to the rooms. During the night, she's down in the barroom with the rest of us, giving drinks and getting slapped on the ass, just like any bar wench would be.

Certainly better than being off killing the cobbler and his daughter, like some people I know.

I didn`t think of that... a good point, eerr.

Ahh, the scrying mirror in the tavern shows the second half of Norway-Brazil in football (I think werewolwes call it soccer:D )

I need a beer and 45 intense minutes in front of the scrying mirror.

-Lorgen, dressed in red, white and blue for the occasion

Well i am a merchant... i can't stay in the small town... im a bussy man. The next town has more to offer for me. Besides werewolves are bad for buisness!

No one has explained the beautless and the beast story. So this is why i think the bar wench shouold be taken to the gallows at once. (whispers under breath:And then i can finaly get out of this crazy town)

All fine and dandy ... soon's ye pay me fer them fancy Jerry Curl in yer horses' mane. That what be bad for business, that is. Ain't cheap what t send alla way t Amurite-land, no sir.

What difference does that make? He's getting a bit lost in his words, but why should we care about that?

Though you are right in that the Wench's association with the tavern owner is a bit suspicious. She might have infected him too, and thus made him all the more confused. I say we lynch them both, but the wench first. She's more likely to be in a more advanced state of werewolf-ness.

He's not getting lost in his words, Xuenay, he's lying.

There's a significant difference between the two.
