Forumer Strategy Topic

If I can get most of these 9 Wonders, I'm pretty well set in a game.
1) Great Wall
2) Colossus
3) Oracle
4) Copernicus
5) Leo's Workshop
6) Adam Smith
7) Michelangelo
8. Statue of Liberty
9) Hoover Dam

Pyramids (Hate building Granaries)
Great Wall (Keeps em away)
Mike's Chapel
J.S. Bachs Cathedral
Leo's workshop
Adam Smith
Hoover Dam
U.N. (Just because I like to see them say that my warlike intentions are "peacekeeping missions"

Whats the attraction with the Oracle? I never get the chance to build it anyway, but I always see it mentioned in strategies.

This site is the best find I think I have ever made.

It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at THAT man.

My strategy is to kill every one of my enemies. Maintain civil order. Get as many wonders as I can. Keep found new cities during the whole game.

The Oracle doubles the effect of your temples until Theology. I like it because it helps me keep everybody happy in some of my larger cities before I can build Michelangelo.

Never built it, never will

Wonders of the ancient age: pyramids and the lovely hanging gardens...

Just to keep the discussion going ...

In my previous post on initial builds, I singled out:
1) the Colussus
2) Hanging Gardens
3) Mike's Chapel

after that:

4) King Richard's Crusade

Thanks to this one amazing wonder, I usually build every subsequent wonder. Of those my favorites are: Hoover Dam, Cure for Cancer, SETI, and that bastion of a militarized democracy, Shakespeare's Theatre.

p.s. Heirophant: "taking wonders from others" contributes not one iota to this discussion
