Last night, I lost two Chariots to two Axemen while stading on a forested Hill.

The RNGod has seen it fit to curse me! *sob*

Chariots don't get defensive bonuses, do they? If that's correct, you should have lost them both, barely tarnishing the Axemen's armor. Can't blame RNGod for that, can you?

No, chariots only get the bonus when *attacking* axes. So, they're right to die.... although, I've had a defending chariot kill my attacking Praet before...

But I don't think the chariots get the defensive bonus from the forest or the hill either. Don't remember, it's been awhile.
