FoxNews Hit Piece Ron Paul, says Paul should be kicked out of debates

John Gibson works for FOX he is not FOX those were opinions not company policy.

Heaven forbid that a presidential candidate with a differing point of view be allowed in the primary debates. :shake:

Paul seems to be polling well among those who have watched the debates so far. Shouldn't the 8 guys who polled worse than him be on the chopping block first?

Great, fodder for the FoxNews haters. This time the hate would be perfectly justified.

Not only are they making ridiculous statements, they are basically not understanding what he said. He did not say the US GOVERNMENT DID THE ATTACKS he is saying our foriegn policy had a hand in it! What the hell is wrong with a differing opinion?

I think they are scared of his increasing poll numbers. I am >> that close to becoming a Paul supporter.

This is the funny thing. Ron Paul probably lost a few people that were actually watching the debate that took him the way Giuliani intended them to, and he gained a few people that agreed with him in what he was trying to get at.

Now the folks that really don't like him are publicizing his name all over the place, and yeah some voters are going to take him as a whackjob and some are not, but none of those voters would have voted for him when they didn't know his name in the first place.

I'm really not surprised... When I watched the old Bush-Kerry debates on Fox with my roommate at the time (Antilogic), neither one of us could understand where how they could interpret the now-infamous "international test" line without biased hatred. It's just a Republican trying to make a Democratic position (get out of Iraq) look bad. Same old, same old.

If poll numbers are any indication, he is not the "nutjob candidate" in the mold of an Al Sharpton.

Giuliani is losing my support slowly but surely...really, only Romney and Paul seem competent at the moment.

Total hit piece.

Saying 9-11 was caused by blowback, is not even the same thing as being a 9-11 conspiracy theorist.

Gibson knows damn well what he is doing. It is a bait and switch character assassination.

Well TBH his opponents would be quite silly to not use that controversial statement against him. That's what primaries are about.

every time they do, they look more and more like the same person. it might be harmful for paul, but they dont each individually gain by criticism.

Giuliani just reinforced the image that Republicans think blowback has something to do with Monica Lewinsky or gay cowboys.

any news on Paul's movements in the polls across the board?

They're silly to bring up his name in the first place. Much as I might wish otherwise, he doesn't have a chance in hell of gaining if everyone just ignores him. Even when they're pointing at him and laughing, they're not gaining anything for themselves and some number of voters will say "Ron Paul, you say? He says he voted against the invasion of Iraq back in 2002 before it became a tarpit... Hmmm..."
