I'm going to take the last remnant of my science-fiction collection to the used book store sometime this week (about 400 books in total, used to be 3000 or so, but I've gotten bored with it over the last 5 years). I'd hate for the books go to waste, and I'm too lazy to see if they are worth anything other than what the book store will give me for them, so if anybody is looking for some old-timey classic (and some newer ones), let me know in the thread, and if I have it I can send it to you (as long as you pay the shipping, can't be much for a book from Ottawa to anywhere in North America). So I'm not actually looking to make a buck, just cleaning up the air around here.

I've got no tv/movie "sf", but a lot of stuff by Asimov, Anderson, Turtledove, etc.

I won't list them all. But maybe somebody here can get better usage from them than I would.

If this violates the "advertising policy", I'm sure the Mods will remove the thread.

I might be interested in the Turtledove stuff if I knew what it was. I've already read the entire Worldwar series, up to and including Homeward Bound. I've also read In The Presence of Mine Enemies.

If I were in Ottawa, I'd gladly take them. Sadly though, I'm at the very least a good 2000 miles away. :(

I have been thinking about trying out Asimov. Let me know.

May I recommend "Nightfall"? I have read most of his novels and that one stuck out as one of the best things I've ever read!

Do you have any Man-Kzin Wars anthologies? I miss 4, 5, 7 and 8. I'd even be prepared to pay shipping to Sweden.

I think I have all of them I do (maybe not 5). I'll check when I come back from work.

I'll send you a PM tonight (Eastern Standard Time).

sorry, masque nothing from Banks.

OK, folks, I've got takers for everything, near Ottawa.

Thanks for helping me out. If the mods can close the thread, ...
