Next question: Why does The Black Wind seem to not be able to carry units? It has a cargo capacity, but I can't seem to load units - or Boarding Parties, Warriors and Workers at least.

Also: Is it intentional that Alazkan the Assassin can't get the March promotion?

And: Where does the Hippus theme music come from? It's awesome. :)

Another one: What's the deal with the Altar of the Luonnotor? When can you build it? (EDIT: Figured it out - you can't build it if you're Evil. :))

Yet another: Why do Giants get the benefits of road movement inside your territory, but not in neutral land? This doesn't seem to be stated on the in-game unit description or in the civilopedia. Is it something to do with Hidden Nationality?

And another: Is it possible to gift units between non-teamed nations? I tried to gift a Great Prophet from one civilization to another but couldn't.

The Black Wind can carry units, but remember that hidden nationality units cannot carry units; so if you want the Black Wind to carry, you have to declare nationality. (Gee, I wonder whom that ship is sailing for?) :-)

Alakazan can't get march, recon units never get march. Good players (better than I) always figure out upgrades from unit types to get the best promotions, but with a hero like Alk, no.

Giants, I don't know. I don't think you can gift between non-teamed units any more because there were too many exploits so the ability was taken away in one of the patches.

Thanks for the information. The issue with Giants also seems to be the case for Elephants, Spiders, and other animals. It doesn't seem to affect regular human(ish) units that gain Hidden Nationality later (eg by using the Svartalfar World Spell). Maybe something to do with a barbarian tag on the unit, or something?

Yes, so if you capture a Spider (insert other animal) on a different/cut off landmass, or build the Three Stooges the Black Wind (or pirate ships with cargo promotion/spell) gives you an option to shuffle them around and keep the units HN...
 
The Black wind is even better if you have pact of the Nilhorn, as you can put your 3 hill giants on it (provided they haven't died or you haven't given away their nationality).

Is there any chance the dragon cult will ever be implemented again? i liked the idea of a cult if i wanted to play the shiem or the kuras without having to rush for the order or Ashen veil *yes i know Shiem like Ashen veil because of its ability to raise The AC fast but i still like variety in my options! ;p*
 
Whoooops. I was cleaning up my desktop and I deleted the FFH link. How do I get FFH to load up automatically again, rather than have to load it via BTS?

Put this line in your CivilizationIV.ini file:
Mod = mods\fall from heaven 2

Then, when you start BTS you'll go straight into ffh. That's how I always do it.

1. Copy BTS icon on your desktop.
2. Rename the copied version to FFH.
3. Right click and select Properties.
4. Replace "Target" line with exactly this: "C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Civ4BeyondSword.exe" mod=\Fall from Heaven 2
5. Replace "Start in" line with exactly this: "C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Mods"

This is assuming that you have Beyond the Sword installed in the default location on your computer. Hope that helps. :)

I don't know if this question has been answered before but can the 0.40 media pack be used with the new 0.41 version? That means: Has there been any changes to the media pack for 0.41 or is it the same?

It is exactly the same.
