Try to do the following.
Open a new Microsoft Word doc.
Type
=rand(200,99)
Then press Enter and hold it for 3 seconds :goodjob:

No idea :) I guess one of the programmers was bored :)

I read it had to do something with testing. Also, Microsoft doesn't put in any easter eggs apparently because they're forced to document all of their hidden code.

I heard of some other "easter egges", I am sure they put some in. One was in Microsoft's Screen Saver. You enter something for "mobile text screensaver" and the text changes into band names.

"the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" contains every letter of the alpahbet. it's used to test fonts. you can alter the numbers to come up with less repeats

"Well look at the big brains on Brad!"

werid it works it you change the numbers a bit as well
Tried that - didn' work. What numbers did you try?

In German it's
"Franz jagt im komplett verwahrlosten Taxi quer durch Bayern" which means
Franz drives in a completely crushed Taxi all the way through Bavaria. (well, they use a bit different words, but it's also a sentence that includes every single letter of the alphabet... But come on, this sentence is just really senseles.

I know THAT. Why 234 pages of it?

200 is the number of paragraphs, 99 is the number of sentances in that paragraph, whcihc works out to 234 pages

There was an awesome easter egg in excel 97, i forgot how to do it... something like "press f5, type x97:l97, press tab, do something.....", but you got to "play" a "flight simulator"!! :D It was pretty cool in IT in school :)

Hehe, almost intersting stuff to do with word!
I had some fun with a friend at college. I made a simple macro which would print 'Will you be my sex slave?' in a large font and then sent him the macro. I told him to click the button as many times as he could in 20 seconds and it would count how fast you could click. He did, after 20 seconds the thing is trying to print 100 pages of 'Will you be my sex slave' On the printer, which in the classroom was convienently next to the teacher.

Now thats just sick! ( :goodjob: )
