I am always confused as to how you can play so late into the game and the AC counter is still so low. Whenever I play my games, the AC always goes haywire after like 500 epic turns, while I struggle to keep it below 90 so I get to keep my heroes. When I play the Sheaim, it hits 100 extremely rapidly, not even funny.

Maybe you are like me and raze every damn city because I don't want to stationate my units there to defend it

Plus: the AI builds cities sometimes in really awful spots, like in the middle of a desert, on the north pole or with 5 mountains in the fat cross.

On that save specifically, I turned off the AC

Hey,
is it normal, that the well animated Infernal Longbowmen shoot such ugly missiles? Or is it a graphic-bug?

Thx 4 answers

It's a known graphical bug that's been in for a while.

Both. It shouldn't be that way, but I think it might have been like that since the demonic longbowman graphics were first introduced. I believe it was that way in Fire. Most of us have gotten used to it.

I feel the best screenshot is still Guagle. That's some badass barbarian army.

I raze a lot when I play regular, but in FFH, even if I made a point not to raze any cities for roleplaying purposes, the +1 counter per city with AV usually does the trick.

In one particular game that I have, it was turn 505 and I have most of my continent on a continents map, playing Cassiel. Problem is, HALF (not all) of the other continent went AV and the counter shot up to 60 just from cities. My three adventurers with rangers to detect invis meant I was invincible in any battle, so I kept destroying and sanctifying AV cities. But while I kept winning battles, I could not win the war to save the world, and just kept the counter at 70-ish. New cities were persistantly found in old places and the AV keeps spreading to those new cities, even though I razed the holy city.

Lazy creation gods :p

I suppose this is a little bit funny. This was during one of my new games while trying to get some good civs in the world along with the light elves I'm playing.

I guess the only way that he can be attacked now is an ampibious assault, or magic attacks.

Scouting missions are often a little dangerous, but nothing a rookie scout can't handle.

huh, I've never seen the dragon get built within 30 turns, the few times I've played, the dragon generally gets built later on.

Is that with raging barbarians or a higher difficulty? that could explain it.
