I had a Howie Mandel moment.
She offered me the following deal:

Because that very same turn, the Apostolic Palace folks voted to stop all trade with her. (I voted no.) I tried to negotiate to see if that would get around the AP ban, but no dice. I just thought it was funny timing.
Sort of like the s/s I have of a German airship going down in flames as a random event. Gee I wonder what the name of that airship was? 
That's one way to interpret it.
And judging from her body language, she's embarrassed to stoop so low for the sake of diplomatic relations. And another reason why it's a funny screenshot.
