i wished i took screenshots of all the times my skinny longbow archers kept attacking big buff axemen with their puny knives instead of shooting them.. and the archers always won.

Huh, I agreed to help Mehmed in his war with Tokugawa, and his attitude has changed from pleased to cautious

Turns out Tokugawa capitulated the same turn, and I am now stuck in a war with both of them

I also had one where St. John (Great Prophet) has been born in St. John's, but I missed the screenshot.

I got this start playing a huge high seas 34 civ tectonics map (randomised actual earth).

1) Never had 4 elephants before, wow cool start. Shame about not being on the river and missing the wheat though. I'll move 1E.

3. I did crop the rest of the diplo screen, and background off(on accident), but some one shot Asoka. I'm not using a mod, just plain old vanilla Civilization IV.

Still playing it, I'm not used to marathon. The elephant tiles haven't come in handy yet (there is a huge food deficit), but I am trading for surplus resources with them, which helps a lot. Of course, I may have to cancel those deals once we get to war elephant capability.
