Game crash on TR

Does any one have experience of a strange game crash during play on Total Realism? My game just crashes to windows with only 82 turns left to play! I spent many hours on it and don't want to abandon it but so far I can't get past that turn any ideas?

Dont start new threads for anything other then a MOD download, and post in the thread (or forum) specific to the mod your having trouble with.

knwon bug, when you hover mouse over terraform buttons in tech splash screen, you get CTD

exactly (this is very old bug and still can't find why )
