But is the mod you installed named C2C Release? If it is it's Wrong! And needs to be renamed to Caveman2Cosmos to work.

No, it doesn't. It will work no matter what it's named, but naming it anything other than Caveman2Cosmos makes it a royal pain to debug any save from that user.
