Game diary: Deity, rolling with the Clan of Embers (FfH2 with Tholal's mod)

Tholal’s mod has the warrens extend XP bonuses (and other bonuses) to the extra unit, unlike vanilla FFH2 where the extra unit is excluded from those starter bonuses. How much of a help was that?

I played the Clan recently and it was pretty cool to start out with 2 level 3 units right out of the warrens (apprenticeship, Form of the Titan, and command posts w/ the charismatic Shelba).

Usually it helps. In this game, it didn't matter much. The first rush didn't have apprenticeship and latter on I simply had the numbers.

Oh, Sheelba is aggressive not charismatic, but that's probably what you mean so nevermind that.
