I've been having a problem for a number of months now, where my game no longer launches. It will get to approximately 8k before crashing and locking up on DX 10, and about 45k on DX 9; but the strangest part is that when i fully update all my drivers, it will load and work, aside from a super stretched terrain.
Also to note, is when I do update all my stuff, no other programs work any longer, including internet browsers and other games. When I do not update, everything else works, but only Civ5 does not. It's really bothering me, since I was sooo close to hitting 3,000 hours.
