Also plako got a freebie tech too... almost missed it thanks to his position in the turn log, but look, his score increased twice!![]()
If you read carefully, Dux is at the south pole. He's only reached the northern end of his continent. Navigating from the north pole to the south pole would be impossible this early on a huge map anyway.Dux: You've traveled from top to bottom already? How big is this map...?I will surely have to meet someone soon, just went from somewhat north of my continent, where my capital is, to the southern end of the continent, on tundra. Anyone stuck on tundra?
No, it isn't.Humans also tend to leave their capitals completely defenseless in an early game unless its a very hostile environment.Quechua vs undefended city isn't very good odds for the defender.

Congrats, Toch.Looks like Toch got more hut goodness, yay.
Yeah, it's a bit unbalanced. Luckily we can all tech trade after Alphabet though, which tends to even things out a little. All these huts are certainly turning me off wanting them in future games. The amount of free techs they're throwing off to everyone is ridiculous... who needs strategy in planning your early tech path?![]()
Indeed.Imagine having huts and no tech trading...completly imbalances the game.
Not everyone. I've only got two, and at the first opportunity one of them gave me barbs. The other gave me a tech, but a useless one for my position.FFS everyone is on there fourth or fifth hut and I have only had the one you always get just outside your starting borders![]()
Cool. I'll go with Obama of the American empire then. Well, maybe.
Off topic, but DMOC, plako, and Hercules, your boring default civ names are cramping us cool civs' style. You need to go pick some sort of hilarious or wacky theme to name yourself after.![]()
Not a fan of the man, I take it.Don't make me target you.![]()
Oh dear... how much worse can we get?Well you asked for it. Now you must bevare the power of Donald Duck, Barbie, Deepdownfear or Flash McQueen, when United Toys Empire starts to expand.![]()
Yep, that's correct.Whoever logs in first their units will automove first, I believe at the end of their turn.
Not a fan of the man, I take it.![]()
i was just wondering, what happens if two units of else nations, are standing next to hut and both have orders for next turn to get hut.
And same situation in war what happens, if you are going to capture empty city, with unit next to it, with order to go there.
