Actually Ame is his wife. I guess technically your wife is still your gf though.Come on Elucidus and gf, we might be able to get a legendary 3-hour turn!
Of course they'll end up taking like six hours or something though.
What is that, by the way? I hear references to it all the time in American programs, but I have no idea what it is. (We don't have anything called "jerky", as far as I'm aware.)Sorry, just feeling like crap, I'll play now. Ame is at the store to get me some beer and jerky...
Slightly under, in fact. Impressive indeed!Wow, exactly four hours. Impressive!![]()
Same happened for me. I think it's a delayed reaction to the expansion of cultural borders... for some reason, score doesn't always go up until a few turns after you get a border expansion. At least, in my experience.Wonder why my score went up though... no tech or pop points this round.
Ah, I see. From my memory of Apu's store on the Simpsons, beef jerky always had the appearance of some sort of sweet or snack. Good to have that cleared up.It is cured meat.
In this case beef.
Oh new turn is up.
Didn't even realised I'd copied you until after I posted. Fixed it now to be slightly different.Wah stop copying me. Also I didn't know land area added to score...
Hmm, I'll have to check out Civstats...Also Hinduism has been founded in a distant land! Wonder who that could be.![]()
Yeah, I noticed that. So many danged score increases in the same turn makes it difficult!Edit: Actually DMOC's score only went up by 3, must have been someone else? Someone who actually bothered to try when they didn't start with mysticism.
Interesting. Do you know anything about the mechanics behind it (or a thread where it's explained)? You have to own the land tiles for a certain amount of turns before it counts on your score. Also why it sometimes takes a while to take over a neighbors tile even when you have an overwhelming culture over theirs in that tile.
Yay, I was right!Oh and you could just log in to see who switched to it. You have to play your turn anyway and I know her, if you needed another hint.
I doubt it. They couldn't have built a Worker AND be at size 3 this early. It's only turn 20, and it should take around 10 turns to build the Worker by itself. No, I suspect those people have built Scouts/Warriors/Work Boats instead. Also two people's cities have grown to size 3 now, good for them. Have they even built a worker yet? (suppose if they have corn or pigs)
Okay, I'll check it out in future. Was just curious, as it's bugged me for a while.Emp, I found it a while ago when I was modding the game, but I don't remember where, maybe GlobalDefines.XML?
