All Leaders and our one Governor please post instructions below for our Sunday Turn Chat to be held at 1700 hrs (5:00pm). With Daylight Savings Time, that means UTC/GMT -4 hours. I plan it to be a Turn Chat, so please drop by.

With our Golden Age just begun, everyone is happy and busy doing Golden Age things.

Domesitic Reccomendations:
Raze the Foromach city of Hastings and build four cities to

• Gain us Spices.
• Deny Incense to the Orange Irritants.
• Protect both those gains.

Foromach City Replacements

1. Green Dot
2. Green Circle (gives us Spices)
3. One of Pink Circles (denies Incense to the Foromach)
4. Blue Dot (protects Green Circle and Pink Circle)

The Light Blue Line is our probable border.

To get four settlers we could:

• Falcon Crest (2): library in 16 -> settler in 3, rush for 48 of 567 gold. City will grow on to size 3 on the IBT.
• Anwyn (5): barracks in 3 -> settler in 2, rush for 80 gold.
• Fionna (5) harbor in 1; harbor completes, followed by settler, build for one turn and then rush.
• City Red (5) settler in 2 (no change).

Gather together 3 stacks of units along the English Border as follows:
Orange Group : 4 Medieval Infantry, 2 Longbowmen, 1 Trebuchet
Green Group : 1 Knight and 6 Gaelic Swordsmen
Blue Group : 1 Knight and 6 Ancient Cavalry

Use the rest to defend the cities:
13 Pikeman + 1 Spearman + 3 Gaelic Swordsmen + 3 Ancient Cavalry for City defense (20 units for 18 cities)

Once War with the English is declared follow the paths laid out below



There are 3 Groups

One group (Green) will attack Warwick to the south, go on to take Birmingham (should have little resistance), continue on to Hastings, and then take Brighton

The Second group (Blue) is group to will take Reading and then continue on to join the Orange group

The Third group (orange) will go for Coventry and go onto raze York

Try to stay on mountain, hills, forests, and do not attack over a river (following the lines on the map should allow for that)

Reinforce with new units as able and necessary

I would request Medieval Infantry and Knights whenever possible to help reinforce the front.

Do you use a firewall along with a virus scanner? Where do you think the attacks are coming from, cause I've had some suspicious stuff come from this site at times. I wonder sometimes.

Post in site feedback about it - there have been a few recently that Thunderfall has raised with Telefragged, if you can get screenies of the ads at the top and bottom of the page that will really help to get the offending ads removed. I had a couple of pop-ups that were blocked, but those had already been raised on site feedback. If no one complains they won't get removed.

My biggest attack recently was when I was trying to acess McAffee's site and went to .co.uk not .com. Big mistake, .co.uk is NOT run by McAffee, but a good job my antivirus and firewall was up to date.

Welcome back, Daveshack. I'm finding being president is a huge commitment, I am amazed at how much work a turnchat is. Maybe next term, someone else can run, I think a month at a time is as much as I can handle.

Furiey may be right about suspicious ads, as I have had continuous downoading of cookies and what not recently. But I'm serious about these computer geeks. They have no life, so they have to invade other people's. What I have been experiencing is not new. This has been developing for a long time, only happens at Civfanatics, and probably isn't ads. This looks again like spoiled brats.

I use a fiewall and virus protection, along with other methods of trying to be safe. The perps are no longer interested in being covert about this. This are just blatant attacks. To bad, this used to be such a nice place. And Furiey, I don't feel like going to site feedback and complaining, just to have some computer geek tell me it's my fault or maybe I'm just imagining it.

I'll just get tired of this crap and go elsewhere.

• Spybot Search and Destroy
• Spywareblaster
• Ad-Aware

All three are freeware and highly regarded. I use all three and run them one after the other.

I use Firefox with Ad Block Plus and No-Script and I haven't had any problems with the CFC website
