My appologies if this is in the wrong section but I have been having a problem with my Game when exiting back to desktop (shutting down the game I am playing).
I have had several occasions where my desktop won't re-establish but I have an area on the screen about 3/4 the size of my desktop screen, a bit like a ghost window. The latest example my desktop was black no icons or task bar visible but I could see and move the cursor however there was no right-click menu so I tried Ctrl+alt+del and the taskmanager appeared with no running applications. This also then stopped responding as well so I just shut down on the PC's main on/off button. The computer powered back up, no warnings or anything and just carried on as normal. I was sort of happy with this but would like to know what has suddenly caused this to happen? A point to note, I have re-installed my OS recently after consistent USB problems which I could not resolve, and the system is fully up-to-date.
