game will not instal on my new labtop, risky downloads

hi wi ll follow the instructions to install the game properly for windows 8 with my new labtop but there is a warning from my computer about going to websites with the patches links telling me there may be trouble and risk. Should I go along and download the patches anyway for my civ4 and civ beyond the sword expansion? can you just put them on this forum to download instead thanks.

Download the patches from my thread ... ignore the warnings they are safe locations.
