Why on earth is gandhis favorite civic universial sufferage and not pacifism?
I mean, isnt gandhi the symbole and trademark of the very meaning of pacifism? Anybody else find this odd? hmm.. perhaps its because the pacifism civic is a civic only suitable to use on few ocations, but still...

becuase people see him more as tolerant for all races than over non violence. i also think that you can't have pacifism as a favourite civic for balance issue's.

Well, if Pacifism was his favourite choice, then that would mean he could go into a Police State, which would be worse. I think that is why a lot of the leaders civic preferences are a government civic. It would feel strange having Julius not being in a Representation, or the Americans not being in Unirversal Sufferage, etc.

All of the favorite civics are in the government column.

Ghandi doesn't have Pacifism because a civ running Pacifism is severely hindered militarily. You can only run Pacifism if you truly know what you're doing; just forcing someone to accept it and keep it would be like opening their city gates.

Correction: Liz has Free Religion.

I agree. However, there should be more diversity in where the favorite civics lie. For example, Asoka was a f**ing EMPEROR! Why on Earth does he have Universal Suffrage as favorite civic? No, if anything, he is Organized Religion. Frederick was a KING! Unversally recognized as an "enlightened DESPOT!" Enlightened, yes but still a despot. Try Free Speech.
