I just replanted a 6 pack of tomato seedlings into 24 oz coffee cups. IN about a month, they will be transplanted to containers in the yard (no space for a true garden).

What are you doing?

I always do a fairly substantial garden about this time of the year. Usually about 20 tomato plants, a few rows of okra, corn, green beans, squash, peppers, etc. But with the weird cold fronts I'll be delaying a bit. My garden ends up being about 1/8th of an acre, which produces so much food down here in Georgia that we have to give away half of it.

I've just sown ~70 tomatoes, in modules. Transplanted some red-hot pokers (and given some away). And looked balefully at the "lawn" which needs cutting.

Also, pruned the buddleia, peered into half-sack of potting compost left over from last year, and moved a barrow load of compost from a composting bin to a vegetable plot.

I'm not feeling keen on gardening this year.

I try to do a bit of gardening. But I lack a good place to do so. And so my results never amount to much. Some cucumbers, tomatoes, peas and carrots. I rarely get anything out of it. I don't have a spot that gets good sunlight.

Planted the lettuce seedlings today. It has been dry, so I have a chance of the seedlings surviving the snails. I also planted some sprouted potatoes from the kitchen. This is late, but some of the sprouts were pretty long.

The tomato seedlings all took, though a couple are pretty small. They are under the night light on the back of the commode.

I used to do quite a lot at home, but now as i'm living miles away in shared accomodation where I can't really use the garden, I havent grown anything for years.
I am planning to see if I can grow a few things indoors, namely mung beans, lettuce, spring onions, watercress and pak choi this year.
I doubt anyone would complain if I got a planter for runner beans on the go mind.

My tomato seedlings (Alicante) are just peeping their heads above the compost.
