General Turn Discussion

I've canceled the scout order (at least I think I did it right). Nevertheless it seems that the next step would've been to right direction.

This is a . .. .. .. .ing joke by the way

I agree to the above..whilst I agre to all...do not make me think while drunk or I will hate you all...I think SE is he best to keep with the posted route (I know I posted the route. If you think the posted route is shite, post why, if you have a good reason I will agree with you).

@Krill my arguement support your route even though originally i was skeptical ;)

After some consideration I favor SE as well...I also like the idea of finding out where the enemy is before they find us; but I think discovering other local resources and having a some protection around (just in case) outweighs that consideration.

What terrain feature has a river in the middle with hills/mountains flanking the sides? I think this is one big crescent valley (that's what I'm going to call it from now on) flanked by mountains on both sides.

SE until you hit the mountain wall! (or can see it at least....)

I vote S

Those early points we spent in espionage are paying off. One of our contacts inside Sulla's head, who for security purposes shall only be referred to as "Golden Monkey Oolong", has signed that he has left a pickup for us at one of the drop boxes regarding the layout of this world. I'll post again as soon as I've recovered the package.

I've picked up Golden Monkey Oolong's drop, and have attached a copy for all to see. His time spent in Sulla's head was, mind numbing.....

Anyway, we have obtained a rough map of our world and you can clearly see we share a five point star with our enemies. Two layers of mountain ring the center, in which we have no idea what lies. Further scouting will be needed to confirm this information.

A tilted axis could also effect things....

Sweet!

That would rock if this were accurate :D

ok where to next?

Personally, I would go SW

If we go SE we might but up against a mountain. If we go SW now and then continue SE we might get an extra few tiles vision of that hill. What are we planing on doing with the second warrior BTW?

I vote SW... If it was a star what if Sulla put some cool surprise in the middle.

If you look closly at the FOW:

If we Move SE next turn out new position will allow us to move SE again into some plains. (there will be a mountain to our E and NE)

btw that is not saying i want to go this way....

As a reminder huts are off...so no advantage there.

So what is our primary goal? reveal as much terrain as possible as close to the capital as possible, revealing copper so city #2 can get us metal.

To the SW is more junge & foiliage = less % chance of metal.

To the SE is opening with plains = higher % chance of metal.

i still however havn't chosen. As i feel my "vote" might be the deciding factor as right now:

SE: 3 people
SW: 2 people

Krill: his post still uncast, but in the discussion phase.

I think finding the right spot for our 2nd city is most important. I haven't seen anything to make me think that we shouldn't continue the wide sweep that was in our original plan.
