:(

i asked someone to explain that? :( the road can still be built? no lost worker turn?

That was kinda a oops on the worker.

was the road to go on the grassland hill? is that what i was missing....oh yeah i see it now. :(

as mentioned the road will still be built...shucks.

We move the worker we build this turn onto the forest W of the capital, and we move the worker 1 onto the grasshill north of the wheat.

Post 443.

It's not a massive mistake, only means we end up with a road on the wheat instead of onto the grass hill, we only lose a worker turn further down the line.

As mistakes go, there are worse ones.

I think we will have to wait to see what happens to the warrior before we do any more simming.

OR, as the cliche goes, All Bets Are Off...

we can recover that turn as long as the road gets built when the worker goes to chop that forest.

The warrior will survive....and we will move NW>SW to reveal swine on a hill making city #2 even better!!!!!

Regarding the 14 :science: /turn:

To calculate the amount of beakers which you generate toward the technology:

1) Take the total sum of beakers generated by all your cities (the result from the basics part).

2) Add 1 to it if you have a city.

I'm for a healing of both warriors, as we don't want them late for their engagements with our settlers.

0. we are already behind on the route, so it has to be shorter. every turn of healing is 1 less turn of exploration.

There have been a lot of barb animals...I would suggest having LOS for the entire settler route if he is not going to be escorted. Moving the Warrior SW now and SE later would provide LOS. At this point, I am not as concerned with scouting as much as I am getting City2 up without a hitch.

Well if we go SW onto the hill:

1. we gain 50% more bonus for defense
2. we expose 4 new tiles where there could be an animal...and potentially get hit.

Right now we can stay put heal up then go SW W SE SE and still meet the settler.

I assumed we would finish healing, or at least get most of the way to full health before we move.

I like that string you proposed...my main concern is the safety of the settler.
