Generic Modern Special Forces

This is a generic special forces dude for use as almost any nationality.

This unit is a culmination of just about all the tricks and techniques I've picked up so far in Poser unit making.

[EDIT: The parachute has been fixed so that it no longer shows up pinkish in color in the game. The chute should look fine now. If the version you downloaded has a pinkish color that looks like you can see through parts of the chute then download the latest upload of this unit.]

OK. Parachute is fixed. It should look a LOT better now in game. The pink is removed. The new files are uploaded. So if the files you have contain a pinkish parachute, just download the latest files from the downloads database.

The parachute comes packaged with Ah3d's WWII US Paratrooper for Apollo Maximus. It's actually a figure, not a prop, so it takes a little extra doing to get it to collapse fairly decent but it conforms to Michael 3 reasonably well. It isn't morphable but it's probably the best looking parachute I've seen yet for Poser.

Ah3d makes some top notch Poser stuff, mostly now for Apollo Maximus but his props and figues look incredibly realistic. His WW II German soldier for Michael 3 is a nice package too, a lot better than most of the freeware I've downloaded for the Germans.

The other source of great military stuff I use a lot of is Panko's props and figures. More great stuff.

This new guy needs a good sun tan, if you want him to look middle-eastern One more nit-pick : is his AK pure black (I mean 0-0-0) ? It looks too dark, the sun doesn't reflect on it.
