Previous posts from a few years ago have indicated that Civ6 mods can function with the Mac App Store version. I've opened the Mods folder on my Mac via pasting the following into the Finder Go To Folder... dialog
~/Library/Containers/com.aspyr.civ6.appstore/Data/Library/Application Support/Sid Meier's Civilization VI/Mods
The folder exists and Finder shows it as
~/Library/Containers/Civilization VI/Data/Library/Application Support/Sid Meier's Civilization VI/Mods
presumably because com.aspyr.civ6.appstore is some sort of alias. The Mods folder was empty as expected.
I downloaded the mod MoreLenses, unzipped it and placed the MoreLenses folder into the Mods folder. When I restarted the game, the MoreLenses mod did NOT appear on the Additional Content > Mods screen. Rebooting the Mac made no difference.
Am I missing something here? I'm running Sequoia 15.5 on a 2024 Mac Mini.
