Getting 'The patch failed to install!' when installing BTS

Recently I had to reformat my C drive (civ4 was on another drive) and now I'm reinstalling. I probably should have uninstalled it first because there was some problems installing civ4 over the old installation but I got it to work. Now BTS won't install and I get a 'The patch failed to install!' message. I tried moving the old BTS folder so it's not installing over it but that didn't help. Is there a way to fix this or should I just remove everything and start from scratch?

is civ4 patched before you try to install bts? if not patch it to 1.61 then try to install bts.

Yeah, for some reason I had to patch it then patch again then install BTS. It's done.
