Its cool its obviously either not compatible with Vista or 3.13, its a shame though because I would love to play the map. I will keep a look out for future updates though.

I developed the GEM using vista and 3.13!
 
Downloaded it, unzipped it, found it when i choose play a scenario, chose american empire (by the way it doesn't show all civs), started game and then it says i have been defeated every single time...any thoughts?
Dell xps 410 plenty of ram??? i really want to try this!!!

I have one pretty major issue.

Playing this on BTS (latest version) a machine with 2gb RAM, 2.3 Ghz cpu and a nvdia GeForce 8500 GT...It runs extremely slow..and I mean 15+ seconds delay each turn. When another civ communicates with me, the game locks for about 10 seconds before I can continue communicating with them.

It's a real shame but at this speed its unplayable for me.

Any help appreciated.

Loading speed is always a problem for Giant maps. But my computer have about the same spec as yours and I think it doesn't take as long as 10sec for loading the civ communication dialog box, at least in the first 200 turns.

May be tune down your graphics quality and see if that helps. It is after all a tradeoff.

I'm using a Dell XPS 400 and am having the same problem. Driving me nuts :crazyeye:

Hi MaxRiga, feel free to use my map. For the modification, why don't you do it yourself? ;)
 
Finally got the map working, I installed it into my actual App Mods file inside of the My Games directory, and it works like a charm. Excellent map well done.
 
Hey, I really want to try your map. Looks amazing, but I can't seem load it properly.

I have tried to place the mod in both the 'programfile\...\mods' folder, where it doesn't even appear in game (strange), and the 'my documents' folder where it appears on the load mod list, but I get these error messages and I don't understand them. I also find it really weird that my game reacts this way, when noone elses does.

Hope someone got any ideas:) I have the 3.13 patch installed...

Your download links just link me to the screenshot of the map.....why is this happening?
 
Why is MaxTurns set to 500? I just finished a game on 4.0 with the Japanese (Prince, Marathon) and the game ended at 1000 AD. :(

When did you dl? I don't think i have the MaxTurn set to any length.
