Globe Theatre - where and when discussion

This poll approved the building of the Globe Theatre. This discussion is to talk about the where and when.

I think we should build sooner rather than later and I think the most likely cities are Fort Impervious (was Beshbalik) and Auda City. They both have the potential for large number of specialists.

Any other thoughts?

I shouldn't reply to my own post, but as Governor of Fort Impervious I'd like you to consider building such a wonder in our wondrous city

I intend to chop the jungle and after building the GT would build an aquaduct to ensure that our population could continue to grow and support specialists. Although we don't have very high production, I will chop a forest square to help the GT on its way.

What city has the most food resources should be the one to get it....if we are going to run it as a GP farm.

I did some quick calcs here. They are 2 similar sites, foodwise. I will vote for FI, for the extra culture to strengthen the border, and it has a few hills to mine for extra prod'n.

I'll quote myself from the thread Sweetacshon (great pic ) linked to.

It is a National Wonder, so we don't have to worry about someone else building it first. However, we can only build two National Wonders per city, so we must plan ahead. It costs 300 hammers and will provide 4 culture and 1 GPP(artist). The main bonus is that the city no longer has any , so health is the only thing stopping growth. Most of our cities are capped by and not health, so this will help any city it's built in. With a lot of cottages built around the Globe Theater, we can get our economy going. We could also build a lot of farms around the Globe Theater and make a GP farm.
