While I am recovering and my energy levels are building up ... I am concentrating on MIA and the MTDG ... which as you all know is getting interesting.

I looked at the save last night. We're at peace with one town left on the other continent. We are weak to Japan and strong to the Ottomans and Portugal. Unless we're invaded, this will be mostly MMing. Tim left us well set up with CE's busily producing several things that will soon finish.

I don't mind waiting, AK, but any of us could jump in and play a few turns so we can get this done and go on to 1.1. Whatever the team feels like doing is fine with me. :D

We have lots of obsolete units. How many will we need for MP duty? I can disband some? MarshGrab is about to start pumping 2 CPT; shall I keep it? requires 5 units to prevent a flip. IIRC, if I give it to say, Henry, the units get teleported home. sounds too cheesey.

I checked the unit support the other night. We're allowed some ridiculous amount of free units (maybe about 500?) and we only have about 1/2 or 2/3 of that. I think this game will end before we use up all of our available support and, since we're weak to Japan, it might be a good idea to keep them around.

Cool, AK. :) These last turns are an MMing nightmare. I usually enjoy MMing, but my last set it got really tiresome. Oooooh, now maybe I'll get to do some more. :woohoo:

I don't mind MM in all the other gov'ts, but this fuedalism is insane. I'll try to get the cpt to 1100. I'm building artillery in the full culture cites in case anyone feels frisky and decides to invade. and yes harriet, the MA does give culture. ;)

Looks to me like we're going to have to turn a bunch of our Civil Engineers into tax men. We're running zero science, losing about 65gpt with less than 500g in the kitty. Since we're not over our limit on unit support, I guess all of our gold is going to building maintenance and corruption.

Even if we build no more culture than we have already, we'll reach 100K in 20 turns or less, so it shouldn't be a major problem.
 
:blush: Oops... I thought Whomp was on deck...and played through to the turn before endgame. Here's the log:

1770 AD - Pre-flight check: Four cities are unhappy. Igor break, I fix.

The F1 Advisor say "Build More Cities!" What an idiot. We are losing 59gpt... and running 0.0.0... not too good. The maintenance is killing us at -612gpt.

Fiddle with the cities and specialists and get the bleeding down to -24gpt.

Current Culture: 80,369.

Pre-turn 1804 AD - Everything looks pretty good...no impending riots. Lay a few rails. Some Ottoman ships are off our south coast. I'm not sure it will make any difference at this point, but I whip unis in Mt Lemmon, Marshamarsha, WheatField, IronGold Lake and Darhan, cathedrals in Tabriz, Death to PRNG, Smokey's Bane, Chicken Farm, Yaxchilan and Crowded House, libs in North Coast and Bentleyville, a colosseum in Sprawling Heights, and a temple in All the King's Horsemen. I'm too lazy to look for any short rush opportunities, so hit <enter>.

IBT - All the rushed builds come in and are set to artillery, and THEN... :D
