GMR:Game of Princes

I got Civ V a while back but haven't really played it until now. I am gradually learning how everything works. Completed on all levels up to Prince (solo game in progress).

I have set-up a game on GMR if anyone is interested
4 players
Standard size
Continents
Standard Pace
All victory conditions
No DLC*

*I have all the DLC but am not using it at the moment (I'd like to get a win with all the original civs first)

The game can be found under the games/public games tab it is named Game of Princes. There are currently 2 spots left France and Germany have already been claimed.

I'm Rome in this game, just so you know. I'm a little skeptic to the whole 4 players on a standard map deal but we'll see...

I totally messed up the settings
And yes I think Greece is a no show, 5 turns and AI will replace them.

Not sure if 'we' should abandon this one and go for a second attempt.
Maybe 3 human and 3 AI on a small map. I am okay with carrying on as well though.

Either that or three humans on a tiny map. I do think we should restart though.

The only problem with 3 players (only) is 2 vs 1 so you just end up with a 2 player game on a tiny map. I would suggest 3 players and 3 (or more AI) on an appropriately sized map.

What settings do we want to use?
Small 3 +3AI or Standard 3 +5AI,
Raging barbarians on or off?
Map Type etc?

I prefer standard pace but I am willing to give quick pace a go.

Also do you want me to try and set the game up again or would one of you rather do it

Wouldn't Genghis.Khan participating make us four players?. Anyway my preferred settings would be:

Tiny map (if four) Small map + 3 AI(if three)
Quick pace (if tiny) Standard pace (if small)
No raging barbs
Preferrably Pangea or continents. I hate Archipelago.
