I'm unable to load the save. I tried using the GMR client and a manual download. I'm in 3 other GMR games at the moment and not having any problems in those games. Does this require any mods?

It requires all the DLCs, but if you were missing one, and that was the issue, it would tell you that right off.

I have all the DLCs and was able to create and play a DLC enabled GMR game yesterday. Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think that's the issue.

GMR experiences a lot of turn loading issues. Some games will be smooth as silk for some players, and require finagling for others. There are differnt methods that work for some people better than others. For me, I can usually get almost anything to load if I go load up a single-player game, play a few rounds, and then quoit back to the main menu, and try to load the GMR game again. Don't know how it works, but it usually does.

For some people, they have to run civ in different DX modes for different games. Some have to use the "legacy" download mode in the GMR client.

Try a few things, and if it still doesn't work, I'll revert it, and see if the previous player uploaded a corrupted save, if you still can't get it loaded after that, talk to GMR support. They're very helpful.

Cradle of civilization maps is all I don't have? For future reference should I get them in order to be complaint in an "all" dlc game?

No, only the leaders and wonders. Maps are just up to the host to have.

I like to leave it off for the first couple turns, just to make sure everyone is settled in and not having any problems. I'll put one on soon.

I think we should try to find someone else, it doesn't really matter if we restart or not.
