So what does everone else think?????

I noticed you also have one(kinda)square grass tile to the south of Warsaw. :crazyeye:

I don't know, I think that start would have been below average for a Legendary Start. I don't tend to get excited without at least one 3f tile to open.

I do like the Desert, Uluru, and the nearby Religious CS though. Focus on Growth and you should be pretty good.

not legen start

It's good, but not great. Though, as others have said, it's truly a godly start for the Dutch!

My main thought is too bad you didn't see that Mountain to the S-SW before you founded. Hill on river with Observatory. And far enough from the coast where a coastal city on the same river is viable.

A godly start would have had that mountain a tile or two closer and had a couple more 3f tiles.

Looks nice...but still I kind of typical BNW start...lots of nice things positioned so that it all becomes a comprise...no perfect choice available.

I guess what drove your decision was to get the Horses and and also the opportunity to built Petra....a nice decision in the circumstances. My immediate thought...being an inveterate Spain player ...was how to get as much of the good stuff in along with Uluru....I think it would be a pretty darn good location for a Spain start shifted over two tiles, but you would lose the cows and the deer....
