After a long discussion and debate the Russian side capitulated and Mr. Lavrov offered the following treaty to the USA conserning the future of Alaska
Treaty of Vladivostok
Alaska
1. Russia is to return Alaska to the United States of America
2. United States of America will pay 10 eco points to Russia
3. United States of America is prohibited from stationing troops in Alaska
4. Russia shall maintain two military bases in Alaska with a total contingent not to exceed 200,000 troops
5. Unites States of America is prohibited from infringing upon the rights of Russian companies currently in Alaska
6. Unites States of America is to remove all restrictions on operation of Russian Companies within the United States of America
7. United States of America is to maintain a policy of non-involvement in the Middle Eastern Affairs
Military
1. Military Restrictions on the United States of America are lifted, with three exceptions:
A. United States of America is prohibited from having missiles with a range over 2,000 km
B. United States of America is prohibited from having weapons of mass destruction or any weapons of mass destruction programs

As a result of the Philipines actions the United Islamic States has urged all citizens of the UIS nations in the Philipines to leave immediatley, it has recalled its diplomatic mission there, severing all ties with the Fillipino government and we shall ensure that the security of the UIS is preserved against all matters of aggression.

President Nixon Arrives from Peace Conference-War with UIS over
In a move which will assure his reelection in the upcoming USE elections, President Nixon has secured peace with the UIS and its allies in the war over Cyprus, which is now its own independent nation as enforced by various other nations and the two former warring parties. This was the scene as the president arrived back in the capital of Madrid announcing the newly formed peace
President Nixon was later asked to comment on the recent happenings in India and Africa, and had this to say:
The violence in both regions is regretable, but we hope that the various factions of Africa and the Asian nations can resolve their own issues without further involvement of the USE. If the various situations continue to escalate to somehow adversely effect the economic security of our great nation then the USE will consider taking sides, but as for now we are neutral in all conflicts that do not concern Europe.
He was then asked to comment on recent militarism in Germany and the movements within Ireland and Italy:
The recent militarism and seeming return of Fascism in Germany is regretable, but as for now the USE can do nothing but prepare itself in the case of renewed German agression. We have always had strong relations with the German state, having militarily aided it in its struggle to free itself from Russian Communist domination, but ince that era has long since come to an end the intentions of the new German regime are questionable at best.
Regarding Italy and Ireland; I feel that extreme caution must be taken in both cases before any action is taken, but the movement in Ireland is far more violent and has much less support amongst the populace than that of Italy. In Italy, I beleive we must allow the Italian people some time to consider their desires regarding membership in the United States of Europe, and remind them of the extreme benefits associated with membership.

Military Parades All Throughout USE!
As the troops continue to pour back to the USE after the recent victory over the UIS, the military brass took the opportunity to hold more than 100 military parades all over the USE. Noted was the oddly higher numbers in Italy and the massive presentation of the Air force in Ireland, the same places where recent sepratist movements have been springing up. In Italy, some 400,000 men were paraded all throughout the peninsula to cheering crowds, and even some noted sepratist leaders were seen celebrating, grabbing the USE flag and going out to show their support of the state.
Noted, this movement has spread into the neighboring Austria and Beneleaux, where fear of an increasingly militant Germany has pushed a very sizable portion of the population to call out for at least partial unification with the USE to preserve their ideals of liberty and democracy.

The UIS Foreign Ministry continues to think absurd that the USE claims victory when the UIS has already done so, oh well perhaps this war was diffrent and we were both victors in attaining the objectives that we both wished. Weird......
Offically the UIS denies the USE claims of victory as fictiuos and inherently evil lies set to undermine the faith of Islam, but will make no futher comment nor will take any futher actions against the USE.
Throughout the ports especially in the gulf, tankers have begun once again to make the slow and steady voyage to Europe via the Suez Canal. Also the diplomatic mission of the UIS has returned to Madrid in the light of new peaceful relations.

OOC - Remember that the Muslims in the Philippines do NOT have a majority in Parliament, they have a smallish Party equal to the % of Filipinos that are Muslim.

My population would for the most part be for it. Just the Muslims in the south were against it which are only like 15-20% of my population. I belive the vote was realistic, to an extent.
