Oil Crisis hits world, economies fall!
Across the world, in these past few weeks, nations have been discovered that they are lacking
something which is critically important to their economy, and nation - oil. Since the Middle East,
the worlds main Oil Supplier, was heavily Nuked, and remains in Anarchy, the Oil Supply to many
nations has dropped substantially. Some nations have taken action, and sent teams and their armies
to the Middle East to try and restore Oil Supplies, to their nations, mostly. These will be detailed
further on. All nations who have run out of oil or do not have a steady supply of Oil have dropped
an economy level. Those nations who do have Oil are expected to be heavily pressured to share.
This is one example of how the world must work closer together on ensuring that this very important
resource is shared.

The United Nations recreated - In Nagasaki, Japan
In a fairly ironic twist of fate, the United Nations has been formed - in the city of Nagasaki, where
one of the 2 American Atomic Bombs were dropped near the end of World War II. Which much
fanfare, and a big procession, Japan has officially opened the shiny new UN building in Nagasaki,
which is expected to have a major boost to Japans economy. But this new Organization faces many
immediate challenges, as many nations have started expending their land area, and building empires,
and attacking, and annexing other nations, as we shall describe later. At the first meeting of the
United Nations, the new Secretary General was elected, and she is Suu Kim from Japan. She is little
known, but she has done a lot of work in the past in her Government job to restore order to Japan
at the end of World War II, and work towards a Democratic Government in Japan. She has also
been instrumental in orchestrating the clean up of Japans most recent Nuclear Attacks, and is
expected to be a good leader of the new UN.
OOC - I chose Japan randomly from a list of nations, just to let you guys know. I did NOT choose
Japan because they are hosting the UN, it was random, trust me.
SEATO (South-East Asian/Australiasian Treaty Organisation) founded!
SEATO has been founded by Malaysia, Australia, Japan, Thailand, New Zealand, and the
Philippines. This organization is mostly an economic Treaty for now, but that will likely change.
The increase in trade by this Treaty has caused the economies in all these nations to vastly increase,
and go up a whole Eco level to all nations

North Vietnam invades, mostly annexed South Vietnam!
In a surprise move, North Vietnam has steam rolled into South Vietnam, promising to reunite the
Vietnamese under one flag, like the Koreans have, and calling this a drive for unity, not
aggression against our brothers to the South. South Vietnam, as we shall describe later, has
appealed to the United Nations and SEATO for assistance, but they better get help quick, as the
North has invaded and annexed much of the South. South Vietnam is conscripting its people, and
arming many of its people to try and fight the North Vietnamese, but many Vietnamese privately
say that they would rather be in one nation with their Northern neighbours, but in a Democracy.
They are leery about the Communist Government to the North. The actual attack started as a
massive Bombing raid by North Vietnam, which took South Vietnam by complete surprise,
especially since the North seemed to have very good information as to where their bases were. After
recovering from their initial Shock, the South Vietnamese rallied their fighters and interceptors to
try and stop the North, but they lost many of their planes, due to the Norths superiority, and
numbers advantage. The South did start raising conscripts, but they have been fairly ineffective,
mostly running away when a serious battle starts, and have been killed in large numbers. But the
South did have many, many more Tanks then the North did, and so their tanks did cause quite a
number of Casualties among the Norths invading soldiers, but the Norths bombing raids were quite
effective against the Souths tanks, since the Souths Air Force had been devastated.

Falklands completes Oil Rig, economy grows!
The tiny nation of the Falkland Islands just completed an Oil Rig, which is producing far more oil
then the Falklands need. Selling this surplus oil to neighboring nations, which is expected to bring
up the Falklands economy substantially over the next couple of years. The Falklands also started
the world first Trade Route, with Australia. This little nation has a very bright future.

Colombia invades her neighbors, joins, and is rejected from SADETO!
Colombia earlier this year, applied to, and was accepted into SADETO, the South American
Defense and Economic Treaty Organization. But, they then turned around, and invaded their
neighbors of Ecuador, and Panama. Colombias massive army quickly overwhelmed the completely
unprepared Panama army, and has invaded and annexed Panama. They have pledged to lower the
rates for the Panama Canal, and keep it open to all ship traffic, but we shall see if they keep this
promise. Next, Colombia opened a second front, invading their peaceful neighbour of Ecuador.
The Ecuador Government was caught completely by surprise, and immediately called upon
SADETO members to kick Colombia out of the organization, which they did, and send forces to
save them from the Colombians. SADETO nations currently have a fairly large force in Ecuador,
and are in a stale-mate with Colombia, they have not actually attacked Colombian troops yet, while
they try to negotiate with the Colombian Government. This has shocked the Colombia people, the
invasion of 2 friendly stable democratic nations by their Government, coupled with the continued
Martial law, which all Colombians detest, has caused people to start rioting in some Colombian
cities, and protesting against the Government. These have been small for now, but surely will grow,
depending on what action the Colombian Government takes. The only response that the Colombian
Government would give our reporters is that they are restoring stability to Panama and Ecuador,
which is odd because these 2 nations were already very stable, with the people supporting the
elected Government. Ecuador has appealed to the United Nations to assist them against their
aggressors.

Malaysian propaganda heard in Indonesia!
Malaysia has started a campaign of propaganda in the Indonesian side of the island of Borneo.
Many Indonesians have been seeing the success of the Malaysian economy, and looked at their own
substandard housing conditions, and started to demand that they become a part of Malaysia.
Sukarno has been a very cruel dictator, but, as we shall tell you later, the attacks by Australia have
greatly destabilized his country, and Government. Some parts of Borneo have already joined
Malaysia, and more are sure to in the weeks to come. Malaysia has been hesitant to do anything to
provoke Sukarno, but now, since it seems that his Government is falling, they might just annex
Borneo. In the meantime, their Adnan Tank program is going ahead of Schedule, and Thailand has
agreed to pay 2 eco to see that it is finished sooner. Furthermore, Malaysia has annexed part of Irian
Jaya along with Australia and Indonesia, but more on that later.
Australia attacks Indonesia, and finds Nukes!
Australia sent out its Navy to search off its East Coast for Nukes that splashed down, after locals
reported hearing or seeing some. Lo and behold, they found some! They found an American ICBM,
totally smashed, and leaking radiation, and an American bomber found with 3 Nukes onboard, but
unuseable. No reports from the Australian Government as to what they plan on doing with these
weapons. Australia also have spent Billions on improving their Papua New Guinea province, as they
promised, bolstering the Infrastructure and the Education system, which has caused Australia to
have a better Industry and Education scores. Last, but definitely not least, Australia attacked
Indonesia! They started off by sending their Special Forces, the largest in the world, to destroy a
lot of Indonesias Military, and then sent their military, one of the best trained in the world, to
capture the islands of Java and Sumatra. They have captured Java, and nearly captured Sumatra,
but are being slowed down by the terrain in Sumatra. They have devastated much of Indonesias
military thanks to their Special Forces, the best in the world, and their bombing raids of Indonesia.

New Zealand annexes East Timor!
New Zealand sent a large force, originally intended to annex and control Irian Jaya, but, after
finding out that it had already been annexed by 3 nations, they took control in East Timor instead,
also in Anarchy. New Zealand has also set out to improve her economy, and is starting a massive
Industrialization Project soon.
USA annexes part of Canada, rebuilds, holds elections again.
The United States of American, the nation probably the worst affected by the nuclear barrage,
besides the UK, and the countries which were completely destroyed, is starting to rebuild. They
have recalled all American Military Units home, and have completed several projects. First, they
have build a Nuclear Research Center, which will help them try and determine ways to clean the
pollution that devastates so much of their land, along with Japanese help. They have also used their
military to start a massive Irrigation Project to bring water to the Farmers fields, which has vastly
improved their economy, boosting their economy by a notch. They have also held Democratic
Elections, which is another giant leap towards returning things back to normal, and the hard-line
General Patten has won by a landslide, which probably accounts for the fact that he was the one that
kept Americans together after this great calamity. He has promised to secure, and bring back the
glory of America, whatever its takes. On another note, the USA has sent their army in to try and
calm down the Anarchy in Canada, according to General Patten. They are now in control of most
of the South of Canada, minus Quebec and the Maritimes, and the North. Out of the ashes of
Canada, the USA has taken the South, Quebec, Acadia, and the Inuit Confederation have all
declared independence, as shown on the map.
3-way tug of war over Irian Jaya!
Malaysia, Australia, and Indonesia all sent troops to try and annex Irian Jaya, but none of them knew
that the other was sending troops. This nearly caused a war, but, in the end, Australia and Malaysia
each have about half of this former Portugese Colony, and Indonesia has the tip. Tensions remain
high though, and the situation depends on what Australia, Malaysia, and Indonesia agree to.
Khmer Alliance take over most of Burma!
The Khmer Alliance has continued taking over most of Burma, they acquired some Surface-to-Air
missiles from an unknown source, which were very effective against the Burmese Aircraft which
had been destroying the Khmer Militia. The Burmese Government has fallen, and the rest of Burma
not taken by the Khmers has descended into Complete Anarchy. The fighting that did take place
consisted mostly of the Khmers finding and killed the Burmese Army, which had mostly fled. So
losses were light for the Khmers, and they have a good deal of support in the land they gained, but
the people are still unsure if they will stick to their promises.
(-2,000 Khmer Troops, -15 Khmer Tanks, Burmese Army, Government no more)
