The African Republic of Nigeria
Speech By President Kaneda 16/07/64
'People of Nigeria, today we have finally brought unity to Africa. Combined with our fellow brothers we now present an united force against the evils of imperialism and oppression. Recently the European Government of Spain has increased her African possessions and now seeks to enslave us all. With the African Council we can combat this imperialism and show fight against the powers of Europe and their attempt to impose a new wave of oppression.
It is now that I announce our Four Year Plan dedicated to the defence of our nation and Africa. The Plan shall be concerned with the build-up and equipping of our armed forces. Only through strength can we deter our enemies. It should be our aim to increase the armed forces to over two million men by the end of the four year period and to have an armed forces capable of defeating any threat to our lands.
To fund this bold new initiative we shall put the profits of our power-house petroleum industry into the development of weapons. For once the profits made by Africans shall be used for the benefit of Africans.
Today we have made the first step on the road to reversing the oppression and imperialism of the past. Let us go down this road united in our common quest to have peace for Africa.
Glory for Africa! Glory for Africa! Glory for Africa!'

Diplomacy
To: Spain
From: Nigeria
Your aggressive moves against the independent African nations of Algeria and Mauritania are extremely disturbing. Africa is no longer a colony for European nations. The African people have tasted independency once more and have the capabilities now to fight back against oppression, the times of being able to hold vast colonies in Africa without trouble are long gone. Be warned that if Spain continues with her imperialistic ways in Africa she shall not be able to quell the people and she shall forever face a barage of freedom fighters dedicated to the cause of freedom.
Be warned also that any further military actions in Africa could now be met with force from the African council. We are united in our stance against imperialism and oppression and shall not hesitate to use our powers to force Spain out of Africa.
Heed our warnings now and begin to consider your withdrawal from our lands.
Yours,
Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, Foreign Minister for Nigeria
To: South Africa
From: Nigeria
The continued resistance of the African people shows they no longer wish for your oppression to continue. They have the means with which to fight your imperialism and they shall do so until death. With the African Council now formed the level of opposition you face is increasing. We advise that you end your invasion of free African nations now and return them to the African peoples they belong to.
Yours,
Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, Foreign Minister for Nigeria
