Chrome features tabbed browsing, but sometimes an errant click will cause a tab to create its own window. Does anyone know how to disable this frequently inconvenient feature?

I quite like that feature. Not sure how to disable though, sorry.

Catharsis uses Chrome I believe... he might know.

If you click and drag a tab down it will open in a new window when you release. You can also rearrange tags like this (drag them when you want them on the tag bar).

I don't know how to disable it, but to reverse the procedure, drag the tab from the new window onto the old; the new window will disappear and the misplaced tag will join the original window again.

Better yet, how do you make it so, when you minimize, and restore, that you can still access your taskbar? It's annoying to have to restart Chrome to be able to access my MSN and iTunes :/

Taskbar?! Do you mean the boomark thing below the url?

Hit ctrl-b.

Try:

Right-click taskbar -> "Properties" -> Tick "Keep taskbar on top of other windows"

That is checked. It's almost like Google Chrome turns into a full-screen .exe if I minimize and restore. F11 does nothing.

Can't you just hit the windows button? Or you can try hitting windows-d and see if that helps.

Windows brings up the start menu, but the moment I return to Chrome, it goes back to full-screen.

I think I found a fix though, just press F11 a few times and the taskbar will finally begin showing up again.
