I wouldn't start looking for GOTM3 results until around the middle of the month.

I downloaded it. I may not post the results, because I downloaded them all. But, I will be watching. I am always up for learning more about this, so if I do post one...It will from the Adventurer class. LOL

I downloaded all saves last month and I disqualified myself it is just too tempting to open other save and have a go, especially after a loss.
Have got Adventurer and that will be it. Having a go soon, after a couple of practices(on doyen's map), if I ever get time.

Then why download them all? ... or multiple copies of the same one?

No, you can submit only one game and it must be your first attempt.

Yes, but that doesn't mean you can't play a higher (or lower) level and see how you do. No reason to submit, but just play again on a different level.

That's still no reason to download saves at the same or different levels several times before playing or completing the first one

sorry, didn't say it right...I meant, play one, such as adventurer...upload it, and if you won easily, play contender just for your own amusement, see for yourself how you do without the bonus.

or vice versa, play contender and upload it, and then play adventurer on your own cause you got creamed and want to see how you would do if you'd have the bonuses.

I understand the rules, and have followed them(not that it mattered, got blasted last GOTM on adventurer anyway), but I can understand how what I said was a bit confusing

Some of us played enough practice games to know we'd lose on Contender. I didn't download Adventurer but wouldn't be surprised if someone who played contender for the submission decided to get adventurer along with it. And conversely, some may thought they'd get destroyed on contender but the advantages may be a lot for Adventurer. So they download both, intending to submit adventurer and then see how it fared on contender.

Just an FYI, but the saves page indicates no posts about the game until after March 5th, 2005


Might want to correct that to March 5th, 2006. Not as important now, but for your future cut n paste pages.

Exactly, that's what I did. Some maps - and especially this gotm! - are just too much fun to be played only once
