Btw, ADel has been a great winner for several months, he/she should switch to Predator class! As I said in my last GOTM posts, I lost lots of turns and therefore was the second as expected. Unfortunately, SirPleb wasn't playing. His achievements have been one reason I have been playing all these GOTMs. Now seems like he's playing Hall of the Fame game (first great game in the Sid class), so at least he'll have a new frontier. I'm very excited about HOF developments so see the CivFanatics forum for HOF That's a great development site for all GOTM players.

Thanks mad-bax.
I still miss the hardest ones (conquest, cultural 20K and histographic).
Playing with different objectives is giving me much more fun than the domination goal I was used to.

Actually there is someone who did. We are working hard to get the Pantheon of Heroes up again, which will reveal all...

(I see that even if I hadn't triggered domination accidentally, that Kuningas' Histographic Game would have outscored mine. )

Ok, I was proposing Mark Cutt for the all winner, but seems like he was
the second one. I won't degrade any points from Mark, he''s still a great

Trying to get all the awards is a great goal to aim for. Now, if I could only get my first...

Seriously, I didn't think I did that good. I guess I should be glad all the elites go for Domination.

A bit annoyed here... This is the second time I've submitted a finished GOTM and didn't get onto the results list. My name was on the submitted games list ages ago, what did I do wrong? I don't cheat (well apart from occasionally loading the game up when you make a mistake - but who doesn't!) so why do they keep rejecting me! I didn't even do that bad - it was my first ever diplomatic victory! I'm not cross at the people who run GOTM cos I know they do it for free, but what am I doing wrong!

Are the QSC scores still included in the global rankings? Personally, I never thought they should be. Getting credited for the same game twice - although I suppose it encourages people to do them.

Yep! Sneaked 29 into the Global Rankings quietly just to see if anyone would notice.

QSC will get into the rankings just as soon as we have a new process for scoring it. Ainwood is working his VB fingers to the bone right now to get that done. Then QSC scores will be added in at a fairly low weighting, which gives some credit to people who can't manage to finish the full game in the month, but who do produce a timeline and 80 turns of magic.

I had been eyeing the "lowest diplomatic victory score" medal for myself a couple times in the past few GOTMs.

Damn that Jason Scoring System!
