I'm playing, just haven't had much of interest to post - only recently crossed over to the ADs (until then I often try to stay out of the spoiler threads). Considering how badly I botched the start, I'm not sure whether I will slog through and finish this one, or just move on to #73.

While I find the map an interesting challenge, I personally don't find a lot of the aspects of this type of map to be all that enjoyable.

The Oedo years in the program, for the levels other than deity, don't allow for the different map sizes.

I think that if I have enough realtime to play today I can finish the game. I just launched (yesterday) my ship and need only 10 turns to finish.

I have several days left to play and probably won't have the time for it. If I play anything it will probably be GOTM73 or the D+3 succession game since I think my turn comes up next. So I don't think an extra week would help me this time.

Yes, I think that an extra week would be necessary to finish the game. I'm in 1800 AD and I'm having success and I'm going to win by conquest but the turns are long.

Sounds Great!! I have been really busy...I will be able to finish tomorrow....Tuesday , played about 10 hours today....and now Im am dealing with the space ship...it has been a LONG game.
Started at 6 am today ( Monday )....in 1000 ....the last 6 turns have taken me at least 4 hours....I was hoping to launch by 1850.....but it will be another 4 hours before I can finish, its about 2.AM !!
I love to have the extra time...,I promise to finish Tuesday and submit the game not later than 6 PM .

I played till +1000 over the weekend and till +1380 early this morning. I definitely need several more days to finish as I have just got past Industrialization and want to launch a space ship. I should be able to submit by next Monday.

I hadn't read this discussion for several days so maybe I'm too late but anyway: If it's not too late I can finish playing this weeked. I had some hard disk problems which caused delays.
