Sorry that I didn't submit my game again. I couldn't finish it because of the influx of Civ3 news last month. 
I'll be sure to submit my Civ3 GOTM this month.

56th place, pretty lame, especially considering Kev kicked my ass with only one city!!! 
I should have done better considering I'd been playing small maps at Deity for the past few months, but I hadn't played spaceship in years. I was waaay too conservative, I didn't make a serious effort to conquer territory because I figured I should stick to a civilized strategy to go for the spaceship. Stupid, I didn't even develop the techs fast enough to build the ship at all!!!
Game X is going better, I'm whipping the AI's, but I'm still pretty slow by the standards of folks around here. Hopefully I'll finish closer to the middle of the pack instead of near the bottom!

Hey, not a bad deal for my little OCC game. Essentially tied for 43rd.
Thanks for highlighting OCC games, Matrix. I hope others decide to play some in future games.
Hope to find the time to play GOTMX with Civ3 on the computer now. If Starlifter and Shadowdale continue to be absent and Smash, Cofritz, Duke of M, NOL, and Noughtmaster all decide to skip it this month I may have a chance at a medal.

It's a funny thing to do.But I just thought it would be silly to compare your result with others without knowing you had only one city...

Hey in that case can we not have some sort of bonus points for various strategies of play.ie OCC & SS = +100, conquest with low tech = + 200 , OCC & conquest = + 500 etc etc.
I'm not complaining about the current way the scoring is calculated but some top up bonuses could spice things up a bit
Still, I expect everyone else is too busy playing CIV3 to care anymore about GOTM for Civ2(except for us Europeans
