Gotm - May, 2007

I haven't scored or looked at the saves yet because...

Wait for it

I'm starting my game today! I didn;t want to spoil my game by peeping into others'. Hopefully I'll have it finished by Saturday (assuming I don't pull 14 hour days anymore this week.

Nope. (10char)

Well, then I have trouble with that Gmail thing... So, can I post the save and the replay for verification here? Does the word "verification" mean the same thing as "submission"?

Sorry for all my questions...

9 days left and still only 3 entries! I don't want to stop doing this from lack of interest already =/

Everyone seemed to be all about having a GoTM back in mid-April when we initially brought the idea up ...so.. what happened to the dozen or so people who kept posting about their excitement to start this first GoTM??Anyone think the Spanish UHV was too much for the Inaugural game?Maybe we should have started with an easier goal....just my two cents

It's one of the easiest uhv. Maybe we should accept losses too, though...

I lost my game... :(

3 turns!!!!! before UHV France and England declare independence, and because a world congress i was at war with everybody.

All my army was in Russia and Turkey... and France and England just kicked my ass and i colapsed T_T...

Ah, stability. Which brings my point earlier in this thread they you should focus on Britain and France only for the most part. :p

BTW, I think that the best Expansion civic to use in the game is Viceroyalty. +20 Stability points! (+4 for each civilization starting point controlled, and you'll control 5 - Spainish, French, English, Atzec, and Incan). The only alternative is Resettlement, but founding 10 faraway cities may take some time... That seems pretty obvious, through.

Rome and Germany too :)... ( a stack just with Cannons can do wonders... )

I didn't know that Viceroyalty was +4 from each starting point, i thoght that it was for each vassal... and i was afraid of changing civics, i was unstable most of the game :(

3 TURNS! T_T

Each starting point in Vanilla, each Vassal in Warlords, which I purchased only recently.
