1400 AD: Eliminate Mongols and Germans on same turn.
Declare on Spain....

Ended up trading Medicine to both France and the Ottomans to bring them up to the industrial ages just before winning. I had steam, but no one else did. I traded the tech for luxuries.

I went for a high-scoring Spaceship victory, which I also achieved, but with some mistakes.

Domination limit reached at 830 AD.

Spaceship launched after much tedious, but not optimal, milking in 1365 AD.

Stupidest mistake: no good pre-build for the last spaceship part, cost one turn.

Second: researched Genetics! Cost four turns.

The third big mistake was perhaps less stupid. I had my Golden Age in the middle of the Industrial Ages, when my research capacity was firmly 4 turns per tech even without it. The only time when it would have made a difference for the end date would have been in the beginning of the Middle Ages. This has all to do with the low difficulty level and the very powerful land (see spoiler #1). At higher levels, it is very difficult to keep 4-turn research in the beginning of the Industrial Ages. Theology 6 turns, Education 6, Astronomy 8, Invention 5 and Gunpowder 5. Could have cost ten turns.

due to lack of time i won´t finish this. i was heading for a domination or conquest victory.

continuing from spoiler #2:

bc 950 pop Philo
800 complete first ring of 6 towns. research Monarchy. revolt, draw 4 turns of anarchy. build first ship. become monarchy in 710.
630 first suicide galley makes it through and i meet France. Up Lit, down all other higher techs, know the rest of the bunch, 7 towns. big difference, Germany does not even know Alpha yet...
630 connect iron, 570 horses
with the lack of luxes i realize i need some WH, so i instigate some tied peace deals on the other continent. how nice that the setting gives all the possible AA golden ages (from units) on my continent, and all the middle ages ones on the B continent. set one town on GLH and maximize its production.
470 i had given Math to everyone in the hope someone will research Construction for me, and there it is. trade for it, keeping currency as monopoly. get into MA and draw Eng – not bad. gift Persia up, but unfortunately they get the same.
oops, forgot my gifting up will cause the barb uprising. maybe should have cleaned that camp first :)
330 Persepolis builds Pyramids, and i hear the horns of war.
250 well timed break of our alliance by Persia. troops were prepared, attack starts. start reverse coalition, gift Babs up and they get Mono. trade for it.
GLH prebuild fails, Nidaros is first. At least on the same continent.
150bc during siege of Persepolis Pyrrhus spawns with 3rd elite victory. 110 take it in 2nd attempt.
70bc 3 WFs operating
50bc build FP in Persepolis
30bc first lux connected, silks
10bc due to my lack for happiness, i finish construction of the HG
30ad French build TGlib
90ad 2nd lux connected
170ad get another MGL with the 12th elite victory. i think i´ll wait for Sun Tzu´s
210 Babs build GW, maybe i should have instead have avoided that with the leader
finally manage to kick off my GA! needed to attack an archer for that purpose :) income jumps to +300gpt
270 take Nidaros with TGL, now i can shipchain in the east and safely cross the sea in the west!
decide to make an end here, as i am definitely lacking the time to finish it. kinda like the final picture though:

3rd lux to connect in 2 turns. galleys, markets and troops in queue. Feud in 4 at only 50% without a single lib. MGL for TGL waiting and ready. 5 sources of WH.
plan was to start my own war on continent beta soon, where everyone is weak and small. make a domination or conquest with knights. goal was a domination date around the one of Piu in his (another) excellent game.
retirement score would be 282 in 270ad.

Almost missed this one, due to travel (50th yr high school reunion, cataract surgery, Orlando vacation with kids). Early workers spread across the land popping many (>10?) goody huts with mostly goodies. Decided before starting the game to go for 20K victory, a first attempt for me. Built one settler from capital, then went to work on Pyramids. Traded writing to neighbors for a bunch of missing techs as I rushed to Republic so I could $rush culture (e.g., Cathedral) in Athens.

Three of my own warriors plus two I popped from huts eventually converged in the area of India. Having nothing better to do with them, I attacked the Indian capital, so establishing a second settlement, enhanced with a second city acquired in peace negotiation.

Persia declared on me a good while later, and I was able to establish the Forbidden City with a GL. Thereafter, whenever a wave of cultural opportunities came along, I went to war to try to get more GLs with which to rush GWs, but alas, none came
until late in the game, when my Tanks/MAs produced many GLs.

I didn't look for off-continent AIs, nor were they in any hurry to look for me.
